Gently resisting change since 1872 has been a tagline adorning Gruene Hall billboard signs welcoming visitors stretched along areas just outside New Braunfels on the I-35 corridor. Today, though, they accept a little change. In a post on their Facebook page, Gruene Hall plans to transition to a non-smoking venue indoors.
Dear fans and patrons,
We are pleased to announce that we will no longer allow smoking indoors at Gruene Hall. While smoking has long been a part of Gruene Hall’s culture, the time has come to limit smoking to outdoors only. We apologize for any inconvenience, but hope you will join us in welcoming this new regulation.
