I’d be lying if…

Driving around today, I saw one of those coroplast vinyl corner intersection signs you usually see on the corner in more metropolitan areas. No, this sign was not found near Interstate 35, the superhighway that connects our state’s growing capital, Austin, to our north, to it’s ever-developing sister city, San Antonio, to our south. It was on my right, at the intersection southbound Union and Common Street. This one happened to be for a “Concealed Handgun Class.” 18×24 inches. Had two clip art images of a revolver: one on one side of the sign, the other, mirrored on its y-axis. Its exchange- preceded with a 210 area code.
For those unfamiliar, the section of New Braunfels I’m mentioning is no more than one block from the driveway of Prince Solms Park, the city-owned public gateway to the Comal River, and no more than 3/4 of a mile from Main Plaza, the heart of downtown New Braunfels.
That being said, I’d be lying if I said:
“I’m not at all interested in running for New Braunfels District 3 City Council.”
